Averil Christens-Barry is the Operations and Marketing Coordinator for FORM Garden Design, where she supports both the internal functioning of the team and the external promotion of their work. Her passion for organization and communication helps keep projects on track while ensuring FORM’s mission of creating beautiful, functional gardens is shared with a wide audience. A lifelong garden enthusiast, Averil’s love for outdoor spaces has been central to her professional journey, which has led her to retrain as a Landscape Architect and pursue her MLA at Morgan State University, where she is in her second year.

Before joining FORM, Averil honed her skills in the nonprofit sector, where she was responsible for designing and executing fundraising and engagement campaigns. Her focus on building engaging, community-centered events helped these organizations thrive and grow. Her experience in nonprofit management has provided her with a strong foundation in project coordination, team collaboration, and creative marketing—all of which she applies in her role at FORM.

In her personal time, Averil enjoys nurturing her own garden, where she loves to spend time with her dog, husband, and cat.
