About Us
Built on the belief that gardens are about people.
We’re on a mission to make the garden design process as enjoyable and inviting as the spaces we’re creating.
Residential gardens
Large estates
Private institutions
Public commissions
Bringing together humanity, architecture, and nature, thoughtful garden design results in a space that comes alive with the interaction of people. At work, play or relaxation, humans transform a curated corner of nature into a living, breathing presence.
At FORM, we create outdoor spaces that are an extension of your home. Far from being an obligation, we design gardens that you’ll love to engage with. In that spirit, we are eager to collaborate with architects and other designers as well as homeowners during the design process. We are committed to an honest, transparent, and approachable process.
FORM Garden Design is a boutique garden design and landscape architecture firm founded and helmed by Kevin Gaughan.
We accept projects of any scale, context, or style. Our only requirement is that our clients are excited to be engaged with their gardens.
As garden designers, we establish a cohesive concept based on how you plan to use your outdoor space. This concept threads through decisions on everything from plantings and hardscaping to furnishings, art, and architectural features. We also provide holistic oversight on the project from sketch to construction to ensure the vision comes to life exactly as intended.

Kevin Gaughan
PRINCIPAL & OWNER
From the perspective of FORM founder Kevin Gaughan, people and nature belong together. Though he draws inspiration from a wide range of influences, including art, architecture, travel and sustainable design, his goal is very simple: to get people outside and experiencing the natural world. It was with this goal in mind that Kevin founded FORM Garden Design in 2021.
