Hayley Welzant is a passionate Landscape Architect Apprentice with a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from the University of Maryland. With a strong interest in ecology and environmental impact, Hayley has developed technical expertise through projects focused on wetland ecology and soil morphology, notably contributing to competitive soil judging under the mentorship of Dr. Martin C. Rabenhorst.

Professionally, Hayley has contributed to public landscape design, working on projects for Maryland schools, fire stations, and libraries. They serve as a Junior Professional Representative for the Maryland chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), where they collaborate with industry leaders to foster a vibrant professional community.

Hayley is excited to join FORM Garden Design, drawn to their emphasis on creating spaces that connect people with nature. They look forward to working with naturalistic planting palettes and is eager to explore and learn more about different design styles, including modern and contemporary design.

Beyond design, Hayley is dedicated to cultivating third spaces and creative environments and volunteers their design skills for community-driven projects through the Neighborhood Design Center in Baltimore.
